I would agree. However, a few guys on this forum can take things out of context. Did his sister market the headers for sale or receive any payment for them? I doubt it. So, why should ANYONE here have the ability to contact her about it.

Based on the names associated w/ Sergio Ceja on whitepages.com, there is a Sergio Ceja on Facebook that lives in Chicago, and is friends w/ Jesus Ceja (a name also mentioned on his name on whitepages.com). He's also looks like a bigger guy; so that could be our guy.

If he has any intention of getting us our money back, he could be trying to find someone else to scam, kind of like a ponzi scheme. I've read a few of his old posts on here under the name kakorat.

Sergio told me all weekend that he would send my refund by Sunday night. Still no refund. I talked to the IL Attorney General's office today and they're going to be handling this situation. They seemed quite confident in their process. Just wanted to keep everyone updated...

Paypal is an easy way to send money, but there is no added protection outside of ebay. Other benefit is that it allows the private seller to accept a Credit Card payment which is helpful.. Checks are slow and even money orders are now counterfeited..
Based on the other thread, the guy had the headers, 4 takers, and had just lost his job. He took 4 payments, shipped headers to one and crap to the others to keep paypal off his ***. Now he is sweating bullets.. probably used the money to pay rent/mortgage.
This guy is an amateur, and I think he will be prosecuted..

I'm no expert here and I hope this punk gets what's coming to him.
I have pay pal set up via my AMEX. In the event that I ever run into a situation I'd think I'd be covered by AMEX.
Everyone has a different situation but if your pay pal account is paid via CC, you may have additional protection there.

Thanks guys for all your help / support on this. I know that CSanders has also faxed a Consumer Complaint form to the IL AG, so hopefully they'll see that he has scammed 2 people.
I do think most credit card companies offer you protection for the amount billed to your CC. However, I paid for 2/3 of mine via funds in my PayPal account and 1/3 CC.
If Sergio does live down the street, take a walk down there and see if you see a silver E55. On his other user name (Kakorat), he actually posted pics of his car a while back. You might also see a X3 or 545i.
