DO NOT DEAL WITH Amgprowl or kakorat!!! This member posted that he had Kleemann headers for sale for the AMG 5.5. I (along with another member on this board) sent payment via PayPal for the headers. I was in contact with Sergio via text and received a USPS tracking number. However, when I received the package it was a box full of packing materials, nails, screws, etc; no Kleemann headers.

Now I am trying to get my money back via PayPal, and thats proving quite difficult since he sent me a package (and I didn't buy through eBay).

If there is anyone in Chicago that could do a drive-by and see what this guys deal is, we'd be very appreciative. I have his phone number and address if anyone is willing to help.

I just wanted y'all to know so no on else would have to go through this with Sergio.

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear this man... I remember a similar thread a while back regarding e63 wheels where everyone here on MBW played detective and found out who the culprit was... I sure hope the address information you got is correct... If he can ship you a box full of crap, what makes you think he'll give you his real information?

You may also want to file a police report...

I was wondering about that guy, he had 1 post and was selling brand new kleeman headers? I don't know if I would send a guy with one post a couple grand for parts.

JRCart warned us about these new scammers. They are really evil.

He said the next step is the scammer will tell Paypal that YOU are actually the scammer and they they should check the weight of the package. That you are lying and that THEY are getting scammed.

It's just so evil that it's scary.

Least you went through Paypal bro and didn't wire or send money order.

There is still hope but it's gonna be a battle.

Keep us updated and let's hope there really is a hell for scums like this.

rlh, there are actually 4 of us including skratch77 that paid. Skratch got his and we didn't. The address we have is from his Kleeman receipt.

Sergio actually emailed me 10 minutes ago saying the other guys were out to get him and I should not worry.

This thread reminds me of this guy... Scammed me out of $1k in parts that were never delivered... He finally got caught. I think he is out of prison. I would not be at all surprised if it's the same guy... It's worth looking into. I actually worked with the investigator to shake the guy down. He knew Joe and had many run ins with him. It eventually lead to his conviction. I never got my money back from PP or Joe. This was when I stopped using paypal!

I'm all for you posting the address. This guy deserves whatever is coming to him. 99.9% of the people on this board are good, honest people. It's the .1% like this guy that makes everyone skeptical.

Sorry to hear man! Hope you get some or all of your money back but being you did receive something that will be tough. Maybe you can take a picture of the package that shows the tracking number along with what's inside?? If that'll help.

PayPal is ****ing worthless if you are the buyer. When I had my defective tire issue with another member on here, they didn't do a freaking thing to help.
