Yesterday when I started my car and I drove it to work, in the middle of the way I noticed that the CEL is no longer there.
That CEL was on because I installed Kleemann headers and the primary cat had to be removed, and every time this fault is erased, it comes again after 300 km or so of driving.
I am not sure what caused to disappear but after driving 300 km, I will see if it will show up again or not.
Is it possible that the car programmed itself to the new set up? I don't know, it could be !!!!!

it will pop up again -- mine was doing a cycle for a while because of my TB -- in the begining - I would reset the CEL --- and it would return after a few days -- So, i stopped resetting it and the CEL would come and go by itself.

Your car just stores the CEL and it shuts off. It will come back. If you have this CEL due to deleting primary cats, its just an emissions based CEL. As long as that is the case, its nothing to worry about, unless you have to get your car inspected.

there are a few options -- 1. You live with it --- 2. You tune the car and eliminate it --- 3. you relocate the 02 sensors --4. you can try putting some washers on the O2 sensors -- These are some things I have heard discusses on here -- my friend did the last one and it seems to be working for him --

We do have cats that mate up to the headers and the rest of the exhaust with that setup you will not get a cell. Its important to check with your State on whats legal and whats not. However, what you do or how you use them is 100% up to you.
This is becoming very hard to word the appropriate way..

There are a lot of people who use their car for off road use, and have their tuner shut that CEL code off.
PM me.

Whatever we're tuning!
I have sourced a manufacturer that makes O2 extension bungs and 90 degree bungs and they work flawlessly!
The dreaded "cat efficiency code"(the cat delete code) or any related code that is triggered with a cat removal is a direct correlation between the primary and secondary O2 sensors reading the same air instead of air that has passed through a cat. The extensions will have the secondary O2's reading a different volume of air since they sit out of the direct exhaust stream.
PM me if anyone needs these extension bungs.
