HID Foglight Bulb swap question.
For those that deal with aftermarket HID kits could you be so kind to help me out.
I have (well now I guess we can say HAD) a nice aftermarket HID kit installed in my fog lights. Well when we swapped the E63 front end on the fog lights take H11 bulbs and not the 9006 bulb that the E55 has. My kit is still installed just not plugged in at the moment.
My question is what will it take to get H11 bulbs to work of that ballast and ignitor or will I have to purchase a whole new kit? I know they sell wiring harnesses and the wattage stays the same so hopefully it's that easy.
Any help would be much appreciated. TIA

To be completely honest I'm not sure. My stereo guys had it left over from when they took everything out of my Jeep SRT8 and since the headlight bulbs from the jeep matched the fogs they just threw them in there. It was really trick too, he had them wire it so the fogs came on automatically like the headlights do. I'll take a few pics for you when I get under the car this week and fix the diffuser too. I know for a fact that with my city lights and the fogs he had to wire in resistors to not throw codes.
