IMO a 175 is obviously a happy medium between 172, and a 180... If I started all over again I would have probably started with a 175 instead of a 172. Some say 180's are jerky and only used well with headers and a T/B. Some say the 172mm is the best "street" pulley...

I think I will be getting the 172mm when I choose to because I think unless you are tracking the negatives start to outweigh the positives past that size, but then again I am just stating what I have learned from reading other peoples posts.

I would not expect a dramatic difference between those two sizes. That said, the deciding factor (for me) would be feedback on the manufactures who make 172/175 sized pulleys.
You would probably sleep better knowing the pulley you installed was going to be reliable, as opposed to a few hp left on the table.
Option B: buy the damn headers already!

Any of you guys have an aftermarket warranty and a pulley? If so, has the dealer ever said anything about it?
I think the dealer flashed over my LET tune, and I have the 175 sitting here, so I might as well put it on and reflash, since I would need to do that anyway.
Sorry to go off topic, but the warranty is really the only thing preventing me from putting it on.
