its normal -- the car has a supercharger clutch -- so, the supercharger is not always engaged -- thus saving gas --- also , it prevents the car from having serious vacuum that could cause problems everywhere -- the supercahrger is electronically engaged and disengaged in fractions of a second because of that moving piece.

well-think about it like this === Should the clutch be engaging the supercharger at idle or when the car is off ?????

of course its fine -

Te clutch stays engaged for a while after it's engaged. The amount of time depends on throttle position, but if you stand on it and then let off the clutch will stay engaged in case you step back into it, just like the tranny holding a gear for a while if you accelerate hard and let out.

engine cover -- purely cosmetic -- and it doesnt help these hot cars stay cool -- but not saying that removing it will cause any measurable gains -- removing it may help bring these front heavy cars a micro closer to being 50/50.

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
It will protect the hood in case you lose a belt. Generally it will pop or shatter the emblem into a few pieces.

I dont have the means and knowledge to post a video -- engine bay is simple -- just took out the crap like many others -- I am not a grandma -- I bought an AMG and dont mind hearing some of that muscle.
