anyone break 460whp on stock boost?
The answer is yes
The Hammer man does it almost every time out to the track Don't worry too much about dyno numbers. Believe it or not, my car (E63) dynoed one time at 536 rwhp on a Mustang Dyno and another time at 419 rwhp on a dyno jet.
Comparing two different dynos from two different shops is already a mess.... let alone comparing dynos from places all over the world
I have about 5 different times hitting the dyno and Im going this week for another run.I was at 430whp before kleenann headers and was trapping 116-117,now trapping 118-119 and will hit the 1/4 mile this wed with airbox/tubes,I should break 120 with this cold weather.Actually my corrected times were 121mph in the 85d weather I did my last pulls on.
I trapped 119 in 1800 da and since then added renntech airbox and should have my python tubes from bruce in time for the dyno.
Took the car from trapping 112-113 to 119 on stock boost.I have about 40 passes and 10 dyno pulls so far with different mods and setups for each pull/ 1/4 mile.
I have no doubts in my mind Ill break 121 since adding the air box,the car feels way faster up top end.
I have all the basic bolt ons
Tune
heatexchanger
Renntech airbox
Kleemann headers
Python tubes on the way
K&N filters
primary cat delete
I had an 82mm tb kit and might go back, but im waiting for a stock tb to come in that ill have bored out.
What mods do you have?

we've all had this discussion before but if you put my car on the same track the same day with any other stock E55 street tires or DR's I am still 3-5mph faster fast track or not and we all know that a good running E55 runs 114-116. 16ft elevation & 57 degree weather with DA @ -18 makes for great runs! although all of my cars 11.7 runs (5 total)have been over 121 in different temps & different DA. That day back in April was the best my car has ever run. Between Alan and myself my car made a total 3 runs that day with times ranging from 11.701 to 11.761 with speeds from 121.4 to 121.8 The speed is great to brag about but I'm more impressed by et

At our track stock e55s run 112-113 we went there with 4 stock e55s and we all trapped 112-113 that day and since then Iv gone countless times with my car and my verybest trap(just once)was 114 but I had a gallon of 104 in there.
the day I did 117 with some of my mods my borther trapped 111 with his stock car.
Im going this wed but we all know how it goes at the track.I dont want to jinx myself, but Im going there with the car being the fastest Iv even felt it on the street.
Well see how she does.Dyno guy just left me a voicemail and I hope I can dyno it the same day I track it.
EDIT yaboyyy dyno tom at 930am and tracking it that night!!!!

Yes. Everyone on here knows Sac's traps are high and they got over it, why don't you? FYI....you're probably the only here on the boards that goes to the track to brag about trap speeds. Maybe you should concentrate a little more on learning how to launch that car and post up some better ET's. Just my $.02.
and since you brought it up I never said my car is stock...HE DID.
I had to dig down and find out he was on race gas and a different size drag tire.Thats why he changed his sig to being fastest stock boost, get it?
You know what,Im not going to post my dyno,it seems no one wants to see a real 3rd party dyno of what kleemann headers and renntech air box does.
I have pre dynos from 2 weeks ago whatever ill keep them to myself. This thread wasnt about 1/4 it was about breaking 460whp on stock pulley. That is my goal right now,to make more power than when I had a 180 on it.
Ohh and the only reason trap speed is brought up is because that is the true dyno to see if your mods are adding any decent amount of power. They dont prep our track, they told me it costs too much, its impossible to get a good 60ft here so we go for traps.
and stock e55s at my track trap 112-113,not 114-116 went there with 4 stock cars and roland showed up with his kleemann k3 car and trapped 117that day.
Hammer was out trapping cars that day because he was running RACE gas that he forgot to mention on the forums about.
I could easily run 116oct tom and break 470whp and all but Im going there with 93oct pump gas that I can get at everystation around here.I want to see the true gains for myself and not brag about the highest numbers.
I have never kept my mods a secret or even if I used race gas ect.Heck I could dyno the car in second gear and break 500whp if I wanted too also.

IMO, if you want to show the true results of how the Kleeman headers and other supporting mods benefit performance a clean run is in order. Try using DR's with consistent 60' times to show the power range of your mods. Me personally, I choose to go with the setup I now have to achieve both lower and torque and gains up top. I've always been about the ET and we all know that's decided in the first 330' of the 1/4 mile.
After some testing with the Vbox at both infineon Raceway and Sacramento I've found that Sac does read 3.5 mph fast. The vbox showed 1.1 mph faster at Infineon, as it should be due to the mph average during the last 60', as for sac the vbox showed 2.5 mph faster which indicates it is indeed faster. The ET's at both tracks were dead on, which is all I ever cared about.

Regarding the other E55s that ran at Sacramento, I don't think they were all stock. I was there both days. One of them had a (work-in-progress) tune, one had pulley and NO TUNE, and one had pulley and tune. Hammer's car out trapped all three, which shows you how amazing his car truly is
To be fair though, it was the first time for the other car's owners at the track and some didn't have previous experience. Driver skill is one major factor in getting great times... it is a factor that everyone, for whatever reason, seems to overlook. Hammer is a great driver and I bet he can squeeze close traps from any healthy stock E55.
