I posted his first video awhile ago...but he recently put out a new video...that is amazing. Ken Block has amazing car control. The car looks to be well prepared...650hp and 660ft lbs of torque and 0-60 in 1.9secs!!!!

Is it just me, or is this not his best work? In previous Ken Block videos, he makes very few (obvious) mistakes, if any, but in this one he makes several, including banging off the wall at the beginning.
I was not impressed, while being very impressed. I am so conflicted...
edit: oh yeah, the car. I want one.

Definitely cool, but if you think about how many times they must have shot each move, it becomes a little less special. Remember, they don't shoot a sequence straight through, and in many parts you can see tire marks that indicate the 10th or so attempt made it on film. Definitely awesome to watch, but if it was 1 continuous shot like the video below I would be much more impressed.

That would be Ken Block, owner of DC Shoe Co. and also owns one of the baddest CLS 55 AMGs out there.

great driving skills for sure. But you can see that there are many takes based on the tire marks on some of the scenes. Also i watched a WRC and he was in 10th place in the FF car. Those guys really konw how to drive.

While impressive, I have no doubt that any of the drivers in the WRC would be able to pull of the stunts in this video. I don't think that makes it any less impressive of course because those guys have world class skills.

Not that they'd lie about it, but I dont believe the 1.9sec figure. My last car got to 60 in 3.0sec and it doesnt look any slower than that. I mean think about it, 1.9?? Lol.
Awesome video, pleasure to watch just like his others. Kind of makes you wonder why and how Nascar is the most popular "sport" in america when something like WRC exists! Left turn coming up! Oh wait, another left!

I really wish other motorsports would get popular here so they'd have some events in the US. It was sad to see the TransAm series die. A Targa Newfoundland style event would be cool as hell.

actually that's entirely in the realm for a Rally car. they are built for 0-100 speeds...which means short gears and tons of power = insane acceleration! Many WRC cars can pull off 0-60mph times close to that.

That's funny I didn't know this, not 1.9 at least. And I did follow some WRC. My last car was a 500whp evo8..that one got there fast, but cost me a clutch, transfer case and tranny.. Booo.

NO, I was actually trying to get a ride in the circuit back in the late 90's. I was having discussions with Ford Motorsports group at a potential chance. Granted it was a SLIM chance.
I have ALWAYS loved the Boss 302 small block Ford engine. Ridiculously huge intake ports, all forged internals, bullet proof block, etc, etc.
Something about a small block normally aspirated putting out over 600HP that draws me in
