need e 63 conversion help
i see on some photos of take out bumpers that there is a support that was glued to the inside of the lower edge of the inside of the bumper does anyone know what this is and have the part number or have a photo of it installed in bumper

there is also 211-885-03-16 that is the center piece that needs to be glued in
i have the 2 pieces you mentioned the body shop did not know where they went
There are also 2 more pieces im missing they go on the low back corners of the cover they attach to the 3 tabs on each side of the cover inside and attach to the outer renforcement right now the outer renforcement is floating in the breeze any help or photos of the inside of a e63 bumper would help

oooo, im going through this process and was finally about to install the bumper this weekend, i also would appreciate pics of the parts mentioned,as they didnt come with my bumper, also geobens75 can you take some pics of the re-inforcement of the lower bumper that you are talking about? as i couldnt see where they are mounted so i didnt order them!
another thing i found was 2 brackets T shaped, not sure where these go?
I bought the bumper used a while back from Germany so i cant even ask the seller!

if you could give me the part numbers for the t brackets ill tell you what they are for ill have the bumper off tomarrow ill take some photos

i`ll get those part numbers for you later, wont be able to get pics till the weekend as everything is sitting at my parents which is not far from my bodyshop who are going to help me put it on.

apparently these are license plate cover fastnings.... something you dont have to worry about in the US.
definately not the support you were asking about! after looking at my bumper it doesnt have any such support either!
Im going to go ahead and install it anyway tommorrow and order the supports afterwards if it looks like it needs it!

goebens, finally fitted mine yesterday, did you find a gap on the belly pan on both sides now? or is this where the missing re-inforcements come into it?
also found the 2 clips taken off at the bottom corner of the wheel arch have nothing to attach to before they attached to the belly pan.
