VRP pulley swapable?

I have a 175 sitting here and you can take the pulley apart and swap it for another size.

Can we buy the different sizes from them?Im loking for a 172 to slap on the other half of the pulley.

So you have the pulley design where the outer pulley is bolted on?

That bolt on design has been proven to be a failure. The amount of heat and torsion placed on the outer pulley is tremendous. Usually the bolts fail and then you have some major problems.

Do a search about pulley failures Angelo.

Welding would be much better and stronger than using bolts! The major issue with that is you are going to have to balance the pulley after welding the outer ring on.

I'm not so sure about that there are a bunch of guys running the ASP 180 and haven't had any issue's. Evosport was suppose to be coming out with a 175 or a 178 but I haven't heard anything lately.

To OP
The answer for your question is yes if you can find someone to machine a bigger outer ring for the pulley you can mate (bolt or weld whatever your prefer) it to the inner pulley. The whole unit will have to be balanced again.
Seems like VRP is dormant or out of business they were in the process of making different size outer rings. Maybe you can contact Victor and see if he still has some one hand.

I know you're frustrated, but your comment is FAR from the truth. I can only speak about our pulley, but it's hands down the best built pulley on the market in my opinion. We've never had the issues you are having with yours.

Our evo1+ Power Package with 178mm pulley has been out for several months now.
