This pic looks a bit deceiving. My car said 117 but when I started driving for more than one mile it went down to 110 lol.

Exactly, car thermos blow up when they are in the sun standing still and then once they are driven for a few the real temp comes into play.

I was showing 107 in the shade at 11:30 this morning.. This was in San Diego, about 3 miles from the ocean. Crazy HOT.. It was 99 when I got home (4:30pm), and I live a block from the beach.

Hate to try to dyno tune today.. yikes

It was 118 in downtown L.A today, and when I was at the printer's shop packing shirts for a customer it was probably around 150 where I was standing (next to the dryer). I was sweating so god damn much that eventually I just stopped wiping the sweat off of my face because it was coming faster than I was wiping it off.

Today was Hell.

I'm so sick of the heat. The best weather in the world can't get here soon enough. I have a collection of hoodies in the closet that literally have dust on them. I cant wait to hold a beer in my hand, while sitting on some bars patio and have it stay cold.

86 degrees where I live right on the ocean but 100 degrees just 3 miles inland. Crazy. I can't wait until more onshore weather and a cool down (in the next few days, they say.)

+1 on the cooler weather. About a month it will be all good hopefully.

Yeah, it's bizarre. Hot winds come down from the mountains and meet the cooler ocean air. There's like a borderline where they meet. In this case it was just up the road.

I lived in Tucson for a few years. I moved there in August and the first day there was a bunch of thunderstorms (monsoon season.) I remember it being 104 midday and then when the rains came in the afternoon and it dropped to around 97 but then the humidity was like 100%. I thought I was going to die. And it seemed like May and early June were really the hottest months of the year in Arizona.
