speed poll, how fast have you driven in your AMG ?

I've driven faster in my C6 (~170ish) than the AMG.

155MPH. I don't think my car's limited (I didn't feel the fuel cutoff) but I ran out of empty road.

This was in Mexico of course.

157MPH, also in Mexico. My car is limited

Finally got a chance to get it in the mid-170's a couple weeks ago...Felt rock solid and was still pulling...

until the f430 finally gave up...

under 120mph on my SL55. Around town I drive very slow

In the 16 months and 20,000+ miles i've had my S55 I've only managed to tap 100, just once. I was passing a new Saleen that did not want to be passed, and as soon as I realized how fast I was going I got off the gas! 100 comes up pretty quick at WOT. Who knew??

I'd love to go to Summit Point for some triple-digit exercise, but I don't want to end up like that guy in the video posted here

i have it on video -- but it is not a small file -- hard to see at the end of the speedo -- the numbers get really tight down there -- I defn went 180 4months ago -- I am guessing 181-182-183?

160 in an AMG....175+ in a friend's Supra Turbo, tuned w/single turbo, etc. Got there REALLY really quickly.

160 several times which is wear the computer cut off and would not let me go any faster.

55mp/h due to signs I see posted on the side of the Interstate.

I was driving in mexico last month.... got her up to 130mph.

I would like to know who is posting these 200 + mph votes, and how you achieved that in an E55 / E63?

Also, if anyone knows a tech in the Midwest that will bump up my speed limiter, or remove it altogether, I would appreciate their contact info. My dealer will not do it for me.

140mph in New Mexico, not that old Mexico. Didn't want to go higher on bad tires and bent wheels.

Friggin ole Speedos. Kept going for 15-20 secs after speedo pegged at 160 so I guess around 165-170. Then just chickened out. Life juuuuust starts to flash before your eyes at that speed.

Can't imagine this animal. 191mph!

It condenses even quicker when you're on two wheels. . .
