Can't Decide on Halloween Costume...HELP
Ok, If you bothered to take a look at this, you must be a light hearted soul like myself. Life doesn't always go as planned and you have to roll with it.
Long story short, I was involved in an accident a while back and never recuperated through conservative treatment. Yesterday, I took a huge step forward and had surgery on my cervical spine. Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion with instrumentation (there some vids on youtube). Basically they removed the damaged disc, added a spacer, and then screwed a plate to the vertebrae to secure everything.
I usually do not share too much personal information on the web but I feel this could serve as inspiration for anyone else having a similar issue...and I need to laugh at myself too...
So, here's the question:
Should I go as Frankenstein this year......................
or a Pez dispenser?????????????

Damn! I should have made this a poll.
Frankenstein get's it so far.
I thought the Pez was more original. I just need to continue the scar to the otherside.
Thanks SaMaS

You'll be better in no time. I had the same procedure done about five years ago. My recovery went very well and I'm still light years better than I was before the surgery. My only regret is not having it done sooner than I did. Taking all those pain meds and getting the injections sucked big time.

Hang in there bro!
I almost lost my wife back in 2005 and during the days that we had setbacks and things seemed to be heading in the wrong direction (days of lots of pain etc) , you just gotta keep thinking....."this too will pass"
She's 100% now, working out like a mad women and sexiest women in the world to me. Seems so far away now.
You got prayer support out here, you just hang in there.

Whoaa! You've seen better days! Glad you're on the road to recovery. Also glad you have a sense of humor about it. I say go as Pez dispenser! Frankenstein is too obvious. Pez dispenser is really funny.
