So who makes the lightest wheels for E55?

Just curious is there any vendor renowed for the lightness of their designs?

OK - think the cost benefit long passed at that price level for an E55 application... I guess ADV1's are pretty light?

What about 1 piece forged wheels?

I run HRE comp 20's in a 19" and they weigh roughly around 20 lbs. I love these rims and HRE's customer service has been excellent!

Pretty close...between 17lbs to 19lbs...but I think they have a versions for racing applications, too. Definitely go 1 piece forged. Shoot Mathew @ GMP a PM to confirm lbs.

I was thinking HRE Comps had to be one of the lighter metal wheels.

The 18" Style IVs are around 30 lbs and the 19s are around 35 lbs IIRC. Pretty heavy.

The switch to the SL65 rims on the E55 and one kitchen renovation has put that idea on the back burner BUT that could change soon.
