Drag racing other peoples car
Has anyone ever jumped in another persons car and ran it down the track?
Just curious how much of a drivers car the 211 is at the drag strip, Figuratively speaking could Bassn jump in someone else's car and run much better times?
Sorry Allan to through you out there, but your the fastest right now..
Just curious,
-Chad

He also jumped in Hammer Down's car and beat his record on the first try. Also jumped in my car and beat the record (until that run) and my car is an E63 not a 55. He also jumped in an SL55 and a couple of other cars at Sacramento and beat their records as well.....

Yep as Mo said I had just best my previous record and ran 11.761 then Alan jumped in and ran 11.701 and followed it up with a 11.726 so Alan is .035 to .06 quicker in my car than I

I have ran my friend's E55 down the track (He was there running it and also watched me run his) and I would say it was pretty much the same concept as running mine.
Good times.

Haha...that's funny you say that. My very first time to Famoso with DR's I couldn't cut a 60' time to save my life. If I remember correctly my 60' times were in the mid 1.8's consistently. No matter what I did I just couldn't get a decent burnout which in turn equaled poor short times.
In short, Chiromikey hopped in my car and ran 11.49 @ 122 with a 1.69 60' time. My best time of the day was a low 11.6 with a low 1.8. Moral of the story, don't let people drive your car if you can't handle someone else owning your pb. I didn't handle it well at all. I was thankful but very disappointed in myself for letting that happen.
Ahmad and Mike have helped me tremendously in learning my car. As we know, each car is a bit different depending on the mods and it's up to the owner to figure out the sweet spot. Launching our cars is very easy and IMO it's all about the burnout and drag setup.
No doubt, We would have gone in the 11.65-11.69 range with my DR's. We actually had slight wheel hop on that run...

i think it happens alot. I've drove several of my friends cars and beat/crushed their best runs before and usually on the first try. These cars are pretty easy to figure out on launching them though
