Anyone used this?
Question though:
Why does the parking sensors no longer work? Are we talking only the audible alerts, or are my sensors just going to stop and not even give me my visual cues?
Surround Sound
I do not want to lose the surround sound.
Not sure how are systems are powered now, but I thought they were powered by amps, not the head unit itself.
Is there not way to hook this unit up and keep all the speaker channels I currently have?
How many and which channels does our current headunit power?
I definitely want to keep 5.1, especially when wanting to add a DVD feature!
Also want to keep my visual parking cues working as I delayed a recent 63 front conversion due to my parking sensors. I dont care about the audible alerts as they are annoying anyways.
Thanks again Shardul for the find. Please, anyone that buys post your comments and thoughts.

Logic7 is proprietary of Harman/JBL, so if you want it just add a JBL MS-8 processor and you have all L7 functions back (with a lot more )
these chinese companies made something really great .. even if not ready yet for top MB classes, IMHO
should they integrate with MOST (and it's not that hard nor expensive to get it .. they just need to associate with the MOST association !)
and, hopefully, conceal all those additional SD slots under a flip, .. together with a more rationale layout of buttons .. that would be ultimative .. and they could mark some more $$
so, .... Encore un effort !!

Here's what i've found:
The piece is about $700. Way cheap in comparison to a OEM video Comand swap. Unfortunately the guy only does BMW units at this time. He did send me a link to a write up he did and mentioned that he would help us if there is an actual interest for these units.

It has SD card / USB capability so the software is easy to hack and the NAV has a lot of different skins that are available online. I imagine it would be very easy to watch video in motion as well.

Yes I spoke to Jeff as well, and I am currently waiting on an email from Shirley and FeiMiao from dynavin. They gave me the pricing, but have not yet responded to my email asking about what will/will not work with the new unit.
