Interested in getting this unit as I would like NAV and an AUX input and/or Bluetooth integration to play music from my phone.
Just to verify, the con for getting the non-most unit is:
-existing CD changer will no longer function
Thanks for the help, much appreciated

any luck with this Hualingan or Dynavin ??
Emailed several times to Dynavin but no answer.
Hualingan has offered me HL-8797GB for USD 550+shipping cost USD 10 for China area.
But I ask for confirmation regarding MOST, but no response until now.
Confuse ??

I very seriously doubt that we or Dynavin or Hualingan will make one for the S Class (especially pre 2004). The problem is demographic. Most S Class users have ZERO desire to modify the cars. Also, the form factor of the D2B S Class, CL, and SL was extremely non-standard. Bottom line, I want to modify my own 03 SL, and you want to modify your 02 S, but we are a serious minority. Mercedes owners en-masse want them to remain as stock looking as possible. It is the whole reason all of our other products exist. A Honda owner usually has no qualms about sticking a display, buttons or similar somewhere in the car. But a Mercedes owner, that is sacrilege.
As a matter of fact, the only GOOD aftermarket frame manufacturer recently stopped making a frame for an aftermarket stereo for your car. The market was just not there. You can still get them for now though, because they just recently stopped production. mY advise would be to get the aftermarket kit and swap out to your favorite Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood, etc - now before you can't get the good frames anymore.

REALLY??? Interesting news... I would love to test one when available. I would find it very surprising if they fit the pre 2003 AND work well.
We have only tested the Dynavin, but not the Haulingan. IF they work well, that would fill a nice hole in the lineup.

will this work in my car?
My wife has 2004 c320 with the cd changer in the glove box and cassette in the dash. I'm looking to put in something with bluetooth for the hands free phone(and other things). I've been following this thread from the beginning and was waiting for the latest version to be released. Now that it seems to be out will this work on her car?
Thanks,
Ric

How does the NAVI work? Is it some sort of removable media? What would an electronics shop charge to install one of these? Anybody here have one? I'd like to hear some thoughts on living with it and its limitations.
