That looks really nice! Congrats on the new mod! Bet it feels really good in your hands while trying to maintain all the power which is unleashed when your right foot gets a little antsie.

After driving my Suburban and getting into the E or the SL, I feel like I am in a rocket ship. The new steering wheel feels really good...it is slightly more meaty than the one I got from Performance Products (the before pic)...the quality is VERY good.

Looks amazing. I have been considering a piano black conversion for my CLS with that very steering wheel. You may have finalized my decision with those pics.

Part of the deal was exchanging core steering wheels, so I am shipping that to DCT. Sorry.

Those guys do top notch work. I sent them many customers and even a core steering wheel since I work for mb. I am always very cautious sending clients outside the dealer network, but not with them.

Looking at it again I think yours of all cars needs a CLS63 instrument cluster and a piano black face plate. Then it would truly be finished.

Is the diameter of this steering wheel smaller than the stock if you disregard the flat bottom?

Is it small like the DTM style one?

T-bone...same diameter but just so much meatier. The 9 and 3 o'clock positions have been built out thick and form fitting to your fingers even moreso than the Performance Products version (which was still a great upgrade from stock).

Its funny you mentioned the DTM version because the shop that did the swap had a CLKBS there at the same time and I sat in it while they did the swap...the steering wheel is much smaller than the one I have in the pic I posted. However, it works for the BS and I wouldn't want to make it any bigger if I got a BS.

I am sure DCT could build you one close to those specifications though.
