Thanks dood. I dont know where the pump is but I'm assuming the tech did. Thank you for the offer as well, I spoke to my buddie at the dealer and he says its a warranty issue and he'll swap it out for me np...

How do I check IAT? As far as the pump I'm already confirmed for a Monday visit to the dealer. As far as numbers, what should I be putting down with the 180mm and "Jerry" tune? Again, the car is a monster, I get wheels spin in third gear (I also have crap for tires, Nexin). Should I get back on that dyno after I replace the IC pump? Does the IC pump controll the IAT?

If these are not the problems, what else do you guys think it could be?

How do I check IAT?
With a scan tool that is capable to get into monitoring different engine functions.

Im putting down 505 whp and 575 lbtq with your setup + Larger heat exchanger, pump, and headers. I also had Jeremy tune my car.... You should definitely upgrade your Heat exhanger and pump since you are running a 180mm pulley. Your numbers will definitely improve with those mods.

I put 411/456 stock on a dynojet with a horrible fan. Your def low like every1 says. A bad pump definetly could be the reason. When I had a bad pump my car wasn't even as fast as it is now just stock. After racing same car before and after pump change I saw it was a huge difference.

Mine's still stock but changing my dead IC pump made a world of difference. Considering some mods, perhaps starting from the cooling system...

Bone stock, I pulled 366whp and 485wtq on a dyno jet. It was probably over 100 degrees in the shop and mid 90s outside. Can't wait to get it dynoed on a decent day.

With such high torque and such low hp, are you sure your pump isn't dead? With so many pumps going bad I would suggest that EVERYONE made sure theirs were okay.

My first dyno was 395whp and 437wtrq. Turns out my intercooler pump was half dead ( it would spin but slowly ).

Swapped it out a bam...429whp and 451wtrq. It the pump wasn't even 100% dead.

It's my second pump. It probably didn't have 5,000 miles on it. However, I think it was just the temps. To be sure, I have an old CM30 and a heat exchanger going on soon.

Seems like not enough cooling mods to me. When you crank up the boost, the temps go up, so you need more cooling mods to cool them back down. Easy way to see this is if you make more power on the hit, but it tapers off with RPM.

Yeah those numbers seem low. (See my sig.) I have an upgraded HE and Jerry tuned mine to match the 180MM pulley.

Could be your pump or perhaps heat soak?

Looks like you got bigger problems than that.
You joined in 2009??? Problem with the generator at home, no power ? couldn't log on?

(your pump had a problem, you had no power and added a few seconds to your 0-200km time)

To the OP, have you had a chance to switch out your pump as of yet?

Do you have any idea what pump you are going to replace it with?

I just ordered the updated bosch pump, I have a 180 pulley on the way, hopefully the pump will serve me well. I just have to decide on a H/E now.

I have a pretty good link on the pump, if Bosch is the way you want to go let me know and I will hook you up with the info.

I have warranty so it looks like I'll be replacing it with whatever the stock IC pump is. I thought for a while that my stock IC pump will be sufficient as I dont track my ride.I was wrong. That 180mm pulley produces HEAT...

Nice, at least it's covered my friend. I was thinking the same way about the stock pump being okay. I like to toy with the car as little as possible, but power in any form is addictive.
What are you running in regards to H/E?

Running stock! Before the pulley I was good to go, after the pulley you really need some sort of extra cooling. Can someone put together a quick list of cooling options including their pros/cons/pricing? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was not enough power in the petrol pump and could not do enough to pressure, so impoverished in the AFR and did not let up the boost, the ECU!
Norbert Haug has electricity at home.

To OP - my sl55 is currently having a 175 installed and getting tuned - already ordered a CM30 - im thinking of also going for a larger/ more effective HE - if anyone can recommend a good one to purchase?
