Aston Martin and Audi R8 get AMG'd
I went cruising on the interstate last night looking for trouble and Taco Bell (pretty much the same thing) and to my surprise a new Aston Martin Vantage was just two cars ahead of me. Not one to waste race opportunities, I clicked down twice waiting for him and when the road cleared he down shifted and we took off. I pulled away with little effort. I then slowed down to give him a thumbs up for being a good sport with his new car, but he stared straight ahead looking really pissed. I laughed and left him there with the smell of my combustion. After eating a victory burrito I got back on the road and an Audi R8 4.2 flew by me. When I caught up to him he just glanced over and gave me the "yeah right" look. I goosed it a few times but he didnt bite so I just clicked down and sped off. He started to chase so I slowed back down to 60 mph and when he caught up this time the tone of his exhaust seriously sounded like an angry hornets nest. It was on! When we nailed it the R8 jumped ahead by maybe a car length but I soon gained on him. I closed the gap and pulled past him at 130 mph. The engine felt solid the entire time and Im sure the beast loved the 28 degree air. I took my exit and didnt get a chance to give the Audi driver a nod but Im sure his face had just as much disappointment as the owner of the Aston Martin. Tonight they had their exotics, but the AMG will sleep as the european king.

I can never find anyone to play in this area. I don't try often, but on the rare occassions that I'm feeling frisky, nobody bites. Last time was a guy in a new Callaway C6, that wanted no part of my antics. After egging him on for about a mile, he just ignored. I ended up just feeling like a douche bag. Which technically, I was being.

and yes, where do you find ppl to race? I drive on 66 everyday and rarely come across anybody who wants to race.

Cool races! Just remember that sometimes police stay hidden, even at night, and driving past them at those speeds could be trouble.
I like the Aston Martin and R8 - but unfortunately for what they are, they are fairly underpowered. You'd have to go to the V10 R8 or a DBS Aston to really get some higher performance.
E55 continues to be a great car though, a true sleeper if you will.

It is pretty rare to get anyone in nova to run these cars. I lucked out last night. I found the Aston Martin off the toll road going towards Great Falls. Thats always a sure place to spot a ferrari or lambo. The R8 was rolling on 66. The worst place is the ffx co. parkway with the cops waiting every 1/2 mile or so. The Audi looked awesome while losing and sounded great in the higher revs. I feel like a D-bag sometimes when im out driving aggressively. Its a stock rocket that is faster than 99% of the cars on the road. People are envious towards that.

R8 4.2 is 0-60 in 4.4, and the current Vantage V8 is 4.7 seconds. That's about the same as an E55, isn't it (4.7) ?

0-60 times don't mean much when it comes to top end freeway pulls. Nice kills! I embarrassed some douchebag in a ferrari 360 modena last week, his wife sitting shotty seems more impressed with my ///AMG
