w211 facelift wing mirrors
Where can I get the facelifted wing mirrors from? I have literally scoured the internet looking for these, and cannot find them anywhere.
Asked my bodyshop and he said he could get me a pair for... wait for it... $2300!! Absolutely no way that I am paying that, is that the only way to get them?
Thanks!

Hey Andy-
I tried parts.com and input all the folding mirror items including trim for iridium silver: Price would come in a bit more than $1000 it looks like.

Granted, I've not done this, have no idea whether you can just by the bolts, screws, housings, motors, bezels, trims etc and somehow hook it in to fold when you turn the car off. I just searched 2007 E class and selected all of the folding options. 1 part was out of stock which is why I said a bit over $1000.
Be careful with parts.com though - minimum shipping is 10.99, but what they will rape you on is the clause that they can charge up to 25% of purchase price.
I'd just forward that picture to the guy that quoted you $2300, ask what else he needed, and if those are even the mirrors you want.

Thanks for looking at that, i looked on parts.com and had no idea where to find the bloody wing mirror section haha!
Up to 25% for shipping, thats insane! Yeah I'm going to forward that over to them, try to see what they can do! I'm going to try to look if there are any salvage yards anywhere parting any out, don't mind about the colour, I just want to get ahold of some ASAP and put them on the car!
I think it only needs one hole drilled to fit it on, so that would be pretty easy install!
Thanks for your help man!

They do look much better, but I'm looking for the actual full mirror assembly, so it is on a stalk and not the full mirror on the side of the car. I just think it really kills the lines of the car, and looks like they designed the entire car beautifully and were like "ok we're done, just put the ****ty Mickey mouse ears wing mirrors on there from every other Mercedes"
Thanks for the suggestion though, that is definitely an improvement over stock!

I'm not thrilled with the mickey mouse ears either. I'm pretty sure you will need to rewire the new mirrors to your car as well. Shouldn't be hard though...
