Big Meat Little Meat, wheel pics now added
After been stalked by Evolved for weeks, I decided to sell him my current drag setup and invest in some new shoes and rubber (just kidding bro).
I received my tires in yesterday and thought I would tease the bretheren a little, as always I went with BFG KWD2's for the extreme tread pattern.
Rears are 285-30-18 and fronts are 215-40-18 for a slightly stretched look and big skinny setup
Matte Black CLS AMG 18's-18x8.5 and 18x9.5 35MM offset
I am praying they fit as my wheels have a 35mm offset and are 18x8.5 and 18x9.5

Wow those are wide! I hope they fit. I'm planning on running a set of Nitto 555r's on 10" wide Forgestars (35mm offset). Please keep us posted, and show us some pics. I bet the "big and littles" look sick!

I ran these tires on some 9.5 fronts and rears on past track car, and 275's fit easily, no problem at all. I don't think that you'll have a problem with 285s.

I will make them fit some how, I dont have a choice. May have to pull the fenders and roll the lips. I may also have to adjust the rear links upward for a HEAVY rake Right now my BFG drags in 275-35-18 fit easily on a 9.5" rim with the same offset, so I am hoping they will stuff in there nicely. It is going to look deadly from the back.

Mannnnn, now I am wondering if I made a mistake. Those look amazing.
I just got my Nitto NT-05 yesterday. They look really nice but not like THOSE!
I'll give a full review of the Nittos when I punish them this summer. Not my pics below but same tire of course

They do last forever and hook extremely well for not been a DR. I am hoping the small sidewall and wider tread will help accelerate just as well as a DR. Man, I cant wait for you guys to see the wheels I chose, it is going to be EPIC to say the least.

LOUDEST TIRES EVER.
Just one person's experience here....
I put those on my C6 a while back and after about 3500 miles they got REALLY REALLY REALLY LOUD in the rear of the car.
What they sounded like was like I was driving on coarse concrete all of the time.... even on fresh asphalt.
I ended up switching to Toyos and it remedy'd this situation.

If all else fails, I will just turn on the sound system

Just to be safe though, while I had the wheels and tires off I worked the inner wheel well lips a little more with a bodyman's flat shaping hammer. I also made sure that if the tire did hit something it would "rub" and not "cut".
This weekend I had two people in the back and a back of dog food in the trunk and NO RUBBING.
Also, cant wait to see the secret wheels!!!!!
