Pole Position S03 Tires
Has anyone tried these? I have Michelin Pilot Sport, but would change to the S03. I heard the S03 is better in rain (Seattle) and in the dry. How do they wear? Who makes the longest lasting tire for the E55?

My experience with S03's was positive except they flat spotted very easily. I had a conversation with Luke at the Tire Rack about the S03 flat spotting and he agreed, he also said Michelins were the most resistant to it, I guess that's why they are standard equipment on so many fine cars...I don't beleive I've ever seen S03's on a car from the factory. There is a tread wear rating for all tires, the tire rack provides this info. Directional tread tires are noisier the non. I've had Pilots s03's P Zero Rossos and I prefered the pilots overall. The Pirreli Nero (their newest) is supposed to be very good also according to Luke.
