Any opinions on the w211 KMAC camber kits

Hey Guys,

After 3 years of replacing tires roughly every 6 months due to inner tire wear (negative camber) I've begun to look into the KMAC camber kits. After looking through a few old posts I couldn't find a consensus regarding their usefulness or reduction in uneven tire wear. Soo before I pulled the trigger I wanted to get others thoughts/opinions..... I guess do they really work? What's involved in the install?

Thanks in advance

I personaly recomend them highly and yes the really do what they say on the packet.

I had the same problem every 3 months with no problems since the install over 6 months ago, tyres are still like new.

Also had the castor adjusted all the way forward which was not possible before and the steering feels positive and tight for this reason and the bushes being stiffer.

Fitting is fairly straight forward but I could not do them with the tool supplied, I had to use a TON press.

I'm looking for feed back on this as well. I'm thinking of pulling trigger on a set. I have not found any resultsafter install. Would a typical alignment shop be able to install these and then align the car? Or should one go to the MB stealer = "More Blood" please oh yea they usually don't ask they just take?

there's really not that many people that have done this since kmac only just started making these for the w211 after the platform was nearly out of production.

Your bad tire wear could be because of worn ball joints and thrust arms as well.

Not really, I started it in the driveway of my house and spent hours trying to press one bush out with no luck.............................................. ... then spent 1 hour at my friends workshop using his press and replaced all 4 bushes.

I thought the pricing was cheap considering no one else makes them and normal non adjustable poly bushes can be around this price...... these poly bushes will last a hell of alot longer than the originals rubber ones, so another saving ontop of the tyres.

By the way how are your rear tyres? I had the same front wearing issues also...........

Front tires don't seem to wear as fast as the rears. Ok thanks for clearing up the install. I guess i should contact my local indy shop and see if they would be up for the install.
