Why is my car not level?

When Shardul and I lowered my car with STAR and washers last week, it was level. Today while I was out, I noticed it one side of the car was higher than the other. When I got home, I measured all 4 corners from the bottom lip of the wheel to the lip of the fender and this is what I have...

Driver's front - 24"
Passenger front - 24 1/4"

Driver's rear - 24 3/8"
Passenger rear - 24 7/8"

Why is the passenger side sitting higher? The front doesn't bother me as much as the rear. That's a 1/2" difference back there. I know STAR uses only one setting for the rear, so it can't be a difference in settings. What's up with my stance?

Are you parked on 100% for certain level ground? The airmatic sensors ( two on the front, one in the rear), will level the car chassis out and so the gaps may be different.

The way the dealer checks leveling is with SDS and the Romess tool on the alignment rack (where it's perfectly level.)

I can't say for certain if I'm on 100% level ground, but it was like that every place I went today. Maybe I'll try going different places and measuring at each location.

Measure from the ground up (not the wheel rim) and see what you get. I know it sounds contradictory, but that's what my tech said is protocol. It has to do with the sensors leveling from the ground.

fwiw, my car is different if I park head on in the garage or back in. I know my garage floor has a bit of a downward slant to it.

and if you just recently went over a bump/dip it could effect the heights if measured ASAP-- thats just a theory.

My car was lowered via STAR and washers. The passenger side sits higher then driver side. You cant tell by looking at it from the front or back but there is definitely more gap in the wheel on the passenger side then there is on the driver side.

I sat with a tech fr hours trying to level it out but the car would just auto adjust to the lean after a spin around the block. I just gave up.

On a side note, we took a measuring tape to ALL the cars in the service department and measured them. EVERY SINGLE car that had air matic had the same results, not ONE was even on the driver/passenger side. Go figure?

I had a kleeman elm it was nothing but problems... running adjustable links now without any issues, and can go low as I want without getting a stupid car to low, visit workshop message.

On another note, my car when it was on elm, no elm, and now on links never always sat perfect. The right rear no matter what sits higher than the left rear...

I don't think it matters how you're lowered, these cars will lean on less than ideal perfectly level ground. I think the goal is to minimize the lean vs eliminate it.

I notice even with the V1 when I pull into my garage after cranking the wheel to make the turn in to the garage the car is not level in up front . I would suggest drive the car in a parking lot straight for a bit and then stop (level ground) with out making any last minute turns to make sure the body doesn't lean at all.

That doesn't even make sense unless he forgot to tighten a bolt. The sensor arms links/washers are applied to aren't even load bearing.
