And while we're at it for ideas, maybe make it a smooth shaft without that shoulder on it so people with good old coat hangers can't break in by lifting the door pins. How much for a set?

I can guarantee they aren't made here. If he gets enough people looking for them, then he'll put the order through to the Chinese supplier, then they will be a reality.

p.s., can somebody with a "coat hanger" even open the door via the door pin with auto central locking?

+1 on all smooth barrels. Not for security but for looks. Anyway who actually unlocks their doors by puling on the pins themselves anymore? The cars have automatic central locking.....

All it took was a bit of putty and some paint and I love them now.
I hope my car doesn't catch on fire though, the back seat passengers will be SOL. Might buy another set that allows rear passengers to exit without requiring me to let them exit.
OP: Those are sick.

No, that's not what I'm talking about. Yes, someone can buy Ti from any supplier. However, Ti is in short supply in the states, apportioned for defense usage. The majority of Ti in the world for consumers comes from China, even if someone can just go down and get some (which is extremely hard to work on top of that) from a local supplier. And in that case, it's quite easy to just simply go to the place where it's coming from, put in an order with them, and then it's shipped across the world to here. Very easy, and much cheaper. I've seen it a ton of times before.

Titanium is also used in the medical industry...
