BenzoBoi. I would definitely head in this direction if I had an Airmatic failure although doing it before it happens can be good, I always have an Airmatic issue in the back of my mind. Even though I've never had the issue the amount of people I see here have, it's almost as though there has to be a failure each week reported. Why didn't Mercedes make sure this would never happen, this is a premium brand but it's almost as though with servicing, complexity and failure rates the car is a hassle to own The dealer rapes you for parts and repairs if you don't have warranty, insurance is alot etc etc . SBC + Airmatic is the WORST thing to come out of Mercedes.

Here's what I got from the other thread:
Rear. You need 2 of everything.
A 211 325 00 74 pin #40 on the picture
shim of your choice #30 on the picture
spring of your choice #10
SHOCK ABSORBER of your choice on #70
A 211 325 05 84 metal shim #12
A 211 350 18 06 left guide
A 211 350 18 06 right guide
here is the link to the picture of a rear suspension:
Front.
All the parts from the picture (left part), exept #120, 130 and 140
the picture of a front suspension:
This is if you want a regular coil/damper setup. A coilover setup will eliminate the need for a lot of these parts, especially up front.

Is there anyone that can minimize the list from this if someone were to install coilovers instead of the stock suspension pictured?
Thanks!
