Which drag radial?

Ive narrowed it down to these two drag radials, and need some help..Which one would you guys go with and why. These will be mainly be dedicated to the track, but will be run on the street occasionally. I will be mounting them on the stock rear amg wheels (18x9)..

Between the two...I would run the NT-01's. I bought a set of the 555R's as my first set of tires for the track and they were the absolute worst tires I've ever used. Ended up gettin the CCW rear drag package and traction was no longer an issue. I rode in my friend's ride with NT-01's and they handled great.

But like I said...between those two, I would definitely roll on the NT-01's.

or even you can use NT05 for drag and street. you can compare between the two on Nitto website.

I have never even bought a pair of DRs, Just SRs... so disregard this comment if its totally dumb/ignorant. I would get the NT-01s based on how much rubber is meeting the road, and because they have better reviews and are apparently used by supras and vettes which means twice the power (markIV supras hit 1000+ hp right?) and still stick so nitto NT 01s get my vote

xorrect me if I am wrong, but the NT-01 is a road race tire, not a drag radial, is it not? and the NT05 is a street road race tire, but the NT05R is the drag radial. I hear the NT555R's are not that great. IMHO, you should find a MT ET Street that comes close even if it is a tiny bit narrower, they stick like glue.

cornfed gtr and m3
I would run neither. nt555ss suck on the track and nt-01s are a road racing tire, not to mention they are loud as crap and don't hook. If you want a true track drag radial get Mickey Thompsons or Hoosiers. Don't mess with anything else.

MTs or BFG drags if you're going to use them primarily at the track.

2005 Silver E55
BF Goodrich G-Force T/A Drag Radials

I am going to give these a try (size - 275/35 R18LL) on my OEM 18x9 AMG rims.

Tires are fine and only have about 10 passes on them.

I think im just going to order new BFGs in 275/35/18s like you did.. If the MTs you had were new, then I would deff jump on those.

Thanks for all the comments guys

They are new.the only reason im going with the bfg is because I want a shorter tire to change my final drive ratio.the mt will out launch the bfgs all day and it sucks that mt don't make a tire in 275

don't forget to look at the goodyear eagle dr.'s. lighter than the mt's and sticky enough to blow my diff on a burnout
