Bam "Jackass" Magera trades 360 Modena for S55
I know, way off topic.
Bam traded his 99 Modena w/ F1 paddleshift for an S55.
It pays to be a "jackass". What lesson are we, the hardworking people suppossed to get from this? Making a public fool out of yourself and others is the road to prosperity? Yes, he is from my town, West Chester PA. No, I am not proud. Nice Ferrari though.

ALRIGHT GUYS.
I'm going to staple my *** cheeks together, set myself on fire and generally act like an a**hole in front of a nearby video camera. Maybe that is what it's going to take to get my CL55.

I tried to take it for a ride. When my used car manager saw me approaching with my dealer tag in hand he quickly decided to put it in the showroom. I geuss he figured that was the only way he was going to keep the keys from being passed around the room like a co-ed in Cancun.

David, good idea.
I pride myself in my customer service.
I think when your cars come in it would elevate my level of service if I were to personally verify 0-60, 0-100, 1/4 mile and top speed times for both of you before you take delivery of your cars.
Please, don't thank me. It's the least I can do!
As far as the Modena, let me see: I'm picturing 2 E55s screaming down the highway with a panting Modena trying to keep up.
We just took in an '01 M5 (traded on a new CL55 - way to go),
maybe we will throw that in the mix. l smell a MB/BMW/Ferrari comparison test!
I know that Jay is very interested in the dragstrip results, and I am just he guy to help out with that.
P.S. I will be bringing the FJR to the track.
Let me see, 145HP / 850 Lbs. (with my fat a** on it)
VS. 469 HP / 3815 Lbs. (E500 spec, can't find one for E55)
???

"BYOT" bring your own toys.

I'm picturing a complete E55 VS. FJR comparison test.
The dragstrip should be a fun place to start. Now if I can just keep the front wheel down....

I watched "Jackass-The Movie" and I've been shocked how much trash this movie contained. 80-90% was pure trash, nothing more. Absolutely tasteless. But I guess I was one of the fools who paid that guy's new SL55.

Most non-motorcyclists don't realize the masssive acceleration that even the big sport tourers can give you. For all of you out there, there are now three stock bikes that can run quarter miles under 10 seconds out of the box, and at least a dozen in the 10's. Most of them will fly by 60 in under 3 seconds. Unfortunately the euro govt's have twisted the arms of all the major manufacturers to limit top speed to 185
. Of course bikes have their limit to usefulness, but they are a lot of fun. And even though we brag about our performance cars, a $8k bike will leave them all in the dust. Great bang for the buck! Enjoy the best of both worlds!
