Angry Bad day at the tire shop...

Went to my local tire shop to have my summer rubber put on, and found out that I have two rims that are out of round. I know factory rims are pretty pricy, so this may be the time look at aftermarket. There goes the fence we wanted to put in this summer!

Sucks. I have a feeling my wheels are already messed up since these jerks in Florida think it's fine to basically leave a curb in the middle of the highway (I4).

Yeah, I'm thinking Forgestar F14's in Gunmetal would look nice on a black car.

If I can't feel the out of roundness when I drive, think I can get away with them for awhile?

I think you'll be fine for a while, definitely.

Everybody and their mother has F14's. Please get the new Forgestar CF-5's... They look sooooooo gooooood!

I also found 2 bent wheels on my E63 this week. How much are the Forgestars?
I was thinking about putting 9inch wheels in front (as well as rear) but the stock wheels are Pricey! I thought they were probably forged and would hold up and was suprised to see two of them bent. May just as well buy the unforged aluminum wheels if they bend that easy.

Are they not repairable or don't you want to repair them? I have my wheels trued for about $100 a wheel. Typically two wheels a season.

That's news to me. I didn't know you could have them trued. I'll have to look not that. Who's truing yours? A big box tire store or a speciality shop?

Thanks for the info all.

I typically have the dealership here in Indy do it, but they send them out to a specialty shop that actually does the work. The dealership just knows how **** I am about properly balanced tires and always does a careful job for me on their road force balancer. I hate the slight steering wheel pulsation associated with improperly balanced tires.
