Also, anybody planning to go to MIR sometime soon? A couple of my buddies are planning to go and see what our cars run. One of em has a supercharged z06 (c5) and the other has the new camaro ss (stock).

Would be fun to see how my stock e55 stands against em

 

think 11.79 is the best stock and i think it was a west coast car .

ahh...so it wasn't on street tires.

 

It's posted in my sig and on drag times, the quickest on street tires was Enzom@ 11.77

If anyone clicked on the dragtimes link they will see that I listed 275/40/17 which are obviously not stock and wheels & tires come in at 57lbs. Someone always has to put in their .02 cents. I just remembered why I left this site for a while.

I had headers pulley, tune and DRs and still was running those times..I used to and still ask myself what he would run when he starts throwing mods @ her.

Bro.... you may need to relax a bit, you've been a bit touchy lately The guy asked for the info here so we were answering him here. If he wanted to go hunt for it on dragtimes or somewhere else, he probably would've done so and never started this thread. Mikey stated that the car was stock except for tires and I added the wheels part. And while it is true that from dragtimes tire description, he can guess that you were using different wheels in the rear, that information does not say anything about having different wheels in the front (unless of course he hunted for the video and it happens to be very clear).

You have to understand that this doesn't take anything away from your car. In fact, it may make the run a bit more impressive since 19s tend to take away some trap speed We were just providing complete information to the OP.

And by the way, for completeness sake, neither dragtimes nor this thread mention anything about Sacramento's tainted trap speed sensor at the time. I believe it was tested by 3 different cars and verified by GPS to be off. There was a whole discussion about it in the C63 section of the forum not too long ago not to mention the few threads in this section of the forum, which would mean that that (technically) the "fastest" record would default back to Enzom at 118.7x

To the OP, I think this may provide a more clear breakdown answer to your question:

1) The Quickest 100% stock run is 11.9x
2) The Quickest non-OEM street tire run is 11.77
3) The Quickest drag tire run is 11.70

If you are looking for "fastest" run, then one of Enzom's runs on (non-OEM) street tires is the winner with 118.7x mph trap speed - although some would still not consider that to be 100% stock since he wasn't running on OEM Conti tires.

Yes also listed in drag times, 50/50 mix of chevron 91 & ERC's 101 = 96. some say that running race gas doesn't help on a stock but IMO it couldn't hurt.

 

Mo my issue with you & your .02 is whenever someone ask or mention's quickest/fastest stock E55 there will be 5-10 people that say my car or nice run in some way but when it comes to you it's...nice run but Enzom is quicker or your wheels weren't stock or sac has issues, or come to famoso to see what your car will run there blah blah blah. I take it as a backhanded compliment

MrKool asked how did I get traction to run those times and then I posted the link for the 11.701 run also thinking that MrKool would read my sig but I don't think he did because after Mikey posted car was stock except for tires, MrKool posted ah so it wasn't on street tires, I then followed up his post with info stating it's in my sig stock on drag radials and it's in drag times. I also stated that Enzom was the quickest on street tires. There wasn't any reason for you to say anything. In case some have forgotten before Sac had their trap issues I trapped 119+ on 19" street tires. I realized that Sac had issues so that is the reason why I only post my et in my sig.
