SMOKE LIGHTS ON E63...help!
I HAVE A 2007 E63, ITS BLACK, ALONG WITH MY GRILL. I AM INSTALLING:
-CARBON DIFFUSER
- CARBON FRONT LIP
-CARBON ROOF SPOILER
AND I WAS WONDERING SHOULD I SMOKE OUT MY LIGHTS?
IF SO.. SHOULD I SMOKE THE WHOLE TAIL-LIGHT, OR JUST THE RED, OR JUST THE WHITE?

i like that too, but i had that on my '05 clk500.. it was black also.. so i was looking for something a little different. but ill still be keeping that in mind

I say lightly smoking because I feel the whole "murdered out" style is kinda played out...and I really dont like the black tail + black car look.

There are two types (I think). Black and a darker shade of red.

2006 CLS55 AMG Sold 2010 E550 Coupe totaled by mechanic, '13 SL550 I totaled it, 2017 SL63 current
Smoke them dark enough that the red is not showing, Leave the clear part. If you don't smoke it enough it looks brown.

First off where are you getting a diffuser for the 07 E63?
Anyways, I bought mine just about a month ago and it has the white portion smoked. It actually goes pretty well with the dark red portions. Does anyone know if this was stock b/c nothing else is aftermarket on the car.

i really like the claer smoked, but then i also had the red blacked out on my '05 CLK, and i loved it. damnn i cant decide!

I think the normal facelift ones are the better ones, personally i like the red with the lightly smoked white on these

are you going to get them painted with black/clear mixed or are you trying to do this with a tint film?
I am going to get mine done leaving the clear parts clear but stuck on painting them or just putting a tint film on them.

i had film on my w209, it was nice, but this time im going to just get them painted, i hear you can really change the shade of how dark or light you want it with paint, but idk too much about that
