My E55 to E63 Conversion

My E55 to E63 Conversion
Swung by the paint shop where I get my cars painted today to pick up my e55 after some facelifting! Had them install the facelifted trunk panel, facelifted wing mirrors, and the incredibly sexy e63 front end!
I ordered both silver and black trim pieces for the mirror by accident, and they put on the black ones, which I will be swapping out.
I also had them wrap the bottom of the bumper in matte black after seeing how good it looked on JSpam1990's e63 conversion thread!
I was extremely hungover this morning so the pics don't look that great, I will upload some good ones when I take them with my good camera.
Also is there a market for any of the old e55 parts? I have the trunk panel. full mirrors, and front bumper / grille.
In the first few pics the front center grille isn't on due to wanting to wrap the bottom before putting on the grille, so it integrated seamlessly.

Looks great, I for one like the black strip on the bumper, makes it look like the new AMG's and is a nice match with your pano Also get the e63 spoiler asap, trunk looks naked without it!

They are the 07+ facelifted mirrors. Apparently they were kind of a ***** to put on, have to drill holes etc, but I think they're completely worth it, I love the look of not having mickey mouse ears!
Yessir! I'm 50/50 on the tails, I don't know if I like them more than the e55 ones. The trunk spoiler i definitely need!
It wasn't too much when all ordered not directly from MB (still all OEM parts), but yeah you could get longtubes or pulley/tune/HE/pump for the same cost.
That's cool. It's why I had it wrapped not painted, so if I got tired of it I could just peel it off down the road!

Thank you very much! I was on the wall about the trunk conversion, but I just think it updates it. Stupid thing has euro license plate style holes on it though, so I have to buy a bracket for the plate to fit! Annoying!!

Bumper did indeed come with parktronic holes, and we just removed the brackets from the old bumper and glued them to the new bumper and fit perfectly! Wasn't too hard at all!
Thanks very much! They are the 19" e63 reps from usarim.com I think there were around $600 shipped.

I am going to have to say go for the headers first for sure!! They really change the car from awesome into completely badass! You will not be disappointed I promise you!

It looks great! I am doing the exact same as you on everything and my car is currently in the shop! The only difference is I have updated the tail lights to the E63, have grille blacked out (040) and I am going to have the 3m clear bra applied over the entire front end. Do you think this will work being applied over the black wrap? Also, how much were the mirrors? I am guessing they cost $$$$$
