One last question lol...

Once I split the system... is it necessary or recommended to have the ic pump run all the time?

What do you mean by # 3 and # 7? Also "there switches are complete poop. I switch to a hobbs pressure switch?" , I am sorry but i didn't get you here, may be my english ...

Do you know what are advantages of other stages ? 2 or 3 for example? How do you spot if the tank is near empty?

#3 and #7 are the size of the nozzles for the devils own injection kit.
The switch senses pressure and activates the spray at preset psi level.
Stage 1 = max spray is trigger at set psi.
Stage 2 = you can set when to activate and deactivate the spray
Stage 3 = you can progressively increase the spray was psi increases.

I would stick with a stage 1 kit for simplicity.

Got the HE today... Noticed some of the fins or w.e. they are called are bent on the surface. For a brand new HE thats horrible, will this effect anything? Should I call and complain or its ok?

that is minor -- and you will get far worse from rocks and bugs ... You cant call and complain about those bends -- that is nothing.

ZZP red spray paint is new -- mine didnt have that ... You can complain about that -- and the design is different -- look at the mounting tabs --

go to napa and sake for a radiator fin straightener. cost about 7$. its inserted in the fins and cleans the gaps up.

also running the pump costly is personal preference. some use it for additional cooling at the track but if you run a lightweight battery you can drain it quickly

Hobbs is a type of pressure switch made by Honeywell, you can buy them at NAPA if you have that were your at. I Drilled and tapped the windshield washer tank, the kit comes with a self sealing bung. When the tank get low I have a warning on the dash.
Most people recommend using 50/50 mix of washer fluid and meth, at that ratio you can still you it safely as washer fluid for the window.

make sure you read and read and then re read about water injection and how it works, ONE little mistake and your engine is done and gone. Water does not compress.
This is not a beginner mod.

I will go through 2 big bags of Ice in a single pass , Its not uncommon for me to go through 70-80 pounds of ice in a day.

How long can you drive with windshield washer tank? 50/50 means you put 50 meth and 50 water on the tank? I plan to go that way, but I redirect the windshield washer window tank to fit smaller one somewhere just for that if i could and it does not matter when it finish ..

I am sorry Sneakyneon, I have a lot of questions, Can I get a link of the kit that you bought or at least the model?

- how do I know that the kit failed while i am driving.
- Can I get the S/N of that HonyWeel switch?
- If I used the windshield washer tank, The pump should be located where? or you put the kit at the trunk and you use the windshield washer as additional reservoir?
- When you said, small mistake, you mean in installation? I don't think i will install it by myself, but I need to know a lot about it.

Thank you Sneaky in advance for your information.

Looks as though that HE only has 1/2 inch inlets and outlets as opposed to the ZZ performance HE that has 3/4 inch.. Also read somewhere that the ZZ was better quality ... Hopefully others chime in on their install experiences.

The best bang for you buck would be the EC H/E. Easy to install and its made for our cars. I have had no issues with my Frozen Boost H/E but I did have to cut the bottom brackets. I would still pic a EC one over any H/E in this thread..

The PLM is a good option if not the best for the money:

My install was different than what 99% would do so don't go by mine.
The zzp is same as the earlier EC, have you read that thread?. Neither(Zzp/Ec) comes with the mount for the oil cooler on 04-06 models. You will have to drill out the factory mount and rivet it onto the new h/e or make your own mounts.
