Michelin Pilot Sport AS Plus
Just wanted to pass this along to anyone looking for great wet weather tires that last a long time.
I drive nearly exclusively in Sport II and managed to get 20,000 miles out of my rear tires before reaching the wear bars in the middle of the tire.
I don't think they grip as well as the regular Pilot Sport tires from a launch but other than that they are great tires.

I'm interested in checking out the new Michelin Pilot Super Sports. They are supposed to come with a 30K mile warranty.

That's what I hear. They half the warranty for the rear tires though so you'll be looking at 15k mi's. The AS Plus warranty is 40k so that's why I got 20k out of my rear ones. They ride really good as well. I'm curious to see how the SS turns out.

I did not know that they halved the warranty for the rears. I'll have to check the documentation again.

I believe I seen that on either tirerack.com or the Michelin site.

I didn't notice any excessive noise but I generally drive with the stereo on.

It's halved for staggered fitments, but still 15K on the rears I haven't gotten anything past 9K.
