terminals come with the battery. from my experience unless the car is driven daily it needs a trickle charger. my 32 calls for 74 amp hr battery. the shuriken much like the braille run around 20 amp hrs. so if the sits for a week or more like mine does the static drain will kill the battery. 28$ trickle charger from schumacher and the battery never failed. ill have it at timmayfest if anyone wants to see it

I went with the shuriken. I bought it with the terminals for $82 shipped. I have a trickle charger to use.

Came in today. Put it in, car had trouble starting at first. Fired up on 3rd attempt, drove around - no signs of trouble yet. Ill report back with total car weigh in.

Car weighs in at 3960 with 1/4 tank.

Car takes a bit to crank over on start up. I have it on the trickle charger but Im thinking this is only for race use, not very trustworthy as a daily.

I might make the switch. I mean, mine starts, but its a tad sluggish turning over for maybe 1 second. When its fully running, I have no issues.

edit: took it off the trickle and it seems to be a little better.

First start in the morning. Didnot hook up the tender in for the past 3 days. Have been driving about 10 miles per day.

Word to the wise, go with the braille. The shuriken doesnt seem up to the task for daily activities. I will use it for race use only. Shardul's definitely has more juice on start up

whats the cca for the oem battery? my shuriken bt20 is rated at 850 cca and starts my car fine. granted i have to run a trickle charger due to the low amp hrs, but knew that going in

The duralast has a cold cranking amp of 760, with 960 at 32 degrees and a reserve capacity of 100.

I checked the voltage. While running, its showing a steady 14.0, but during cranking, I saw it dip in the 9's.

My Shuriken showed up today and is a little different to Awols. I got it from Needswings and it came with terminals and mounting surface gear, white tape is just stickers:

shuriken bt20 is rated at 850 CA, NOT CCA.

I have a braille B2015 in my harley.. It has 425CCA.
