I bought this from a fellow member. When it came in one of the terminal was broken but I got that fixed.
After a month of usage i wanted to report the finding. I daily drive my car and have had no issues with starting the car in the mornings or after extended periods of time.
Weight savings is about 40lbs
People running at TFest should get this asap! Wish I could make it there but it seems unlikely this year.
Here are some pics

I thought this was covered before but a search didn't show anything...must have been another forum.

The Braille is a rebranded Deka EXT20L that can be had for $69.00. The carbon covered Braille is a real rip-off at $275.

There were some other forum threads years ago that I can't find but a quick Google search turned up these links.

A site saying the Deka = Braille

The Deka rebranded again is $69 here:

Would this battery survive daily driving? sometimes short trips sometimes long trips? I need to shave weight so I can hopefully improve my MPG and eventually track my car(1/4).

now you peaked my curiousity....

I found the bt20 on ebay for $48 bucks!

It also seems like the two batteries were indeed not the same and rebranded as the cca and amp hours are different.

Your trunk layout is different than mine...are 03's and 05's different? I'm really thinking about doing this...just want to make sure these little batteries can handle daily driving.

yes the 03 have the battery right in the middle and on top of the rear diff. Reason they put it there was due to the absence of a spare tire.
