Talking Split IC data log results with new HE and Pump.

Still a newb to data logging, these numbers arent 100% accurate but very close, yet to actually figure out how to "record" the live data for a more accurate data log. But gives a very good picture of my setup vs split ic.

I have the ZZP Cobalt HE and Bosch HD 010 pump rigged to run all the time.

Ambient temp 65F
Hwy Crusing IAT temp 90F
2nd gear WOT pull 125F
15 secs recovery to 105
60 secs recovery to 90F

After Split IC
Ambient temp 70F
Hwy cruising IAT temp 80F !!
2nd gear WOT pull 115F
15 secs recovery to 90F
30 secs recovery to 80F

Car feels like it pulls A LOT harder all the time. I did 3 back to back runs with same results, maybe varying by a couple F's...

Im gonna post my own DIY with all parts etc, that is MUCH easier to follow, along side a video made by nanayaw6. Big thanks to him, and 320 Dreamer for tons n tons of info!

Over all for the $50 spent on the IC Split, its WELL WELL worth it. Now to figure out my new wideband and see if my AFR's are good, and get my tune refined if needed

i knew you would like splitting the system! going from high pressure to low pressure makes a world of difference. the recovery time is great . this allows for more wot runs then ever

This is where its at man. Those new numbers look spot on and the recovery too. Those were nearly the exact same numbers I saw in that ambient temp. I knew I made the right choice when my IATs hit 5 above ambient a few minutes after repeated wot runs. You're right about the car pulling strong all the time, gives some peace of mind whenever I lay into it. The next thing I'm tempted to try is a couple of drops of water wetter but still not motivated enough.

Good info. Not bad on the recovery but hwy cruise can get to about 12-1 above at 65 deg. ambient.

With water wetter can you add it to the coolant/water or it must be strictly water wetter/water?

It'll work fine with coolant. The less coolant you use though the better, except that the odds of the water freezing are greater.
