The base price is $95,775. $12.6K is for the carbon ceramic brake option and then another $7.3K for the performance package. Not sure where the other $25K is going... ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)

It's an AMG so don't let that MSRP scare you.

lol very true, if anything wait a year or two and they'll probably be selling at 70k for a low mileage one. But godamn the interior is sexy!

I know all about that...I had a W215 CL65...so that is like having a PhD in depreciation... ![Stick Out Tongue](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
I was just shocked that the base price is $95,775...so there was a $44K in options...which seems Porsche-esque...especially since the carbon ceramic brakes ($12.6K) and Performance Package (($7.3K) "only" come to $20K...where is the other $24K of options???![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)

Re: 12 CLS 63
The new 5.5 TT with P30 will be a beast. I'm going to get a CLS 63....or a 12 W212 63 if I can somehow get past the styling, used, in 18 to 24 months.
A $1,499 lease might be palatible depending on the terms, but I buy my cars, and these will be trading at much less after 2 model years.
For now I'm patiently waiting.

121mph means is good weather (cooler), it can run a bit higher.
If they tested in El Toro (Irvine Ca) in May/June.. wait for December numbers!
This car will need the following.
remove secondary cats, tune, add 100 oct and have a lawyer ready for tickets.

im thinking of removing primary & secondary. replacing them with a direct down pipe, drop in filters, tune. hoping it will leach about 650 crank hp.
maybe when IC pumps fail i will replace them with after market.
though it will be under warrenty. so no need for that

Tom, another member here just took delivery of a "launch edition" which I believe has everything and it was a 123k sticker car... this car even with the performance just is not worth the price unless you remove the "S" from the car. Its still a CLS. I did a "build your own" and loaded it up and couldnt come close to 139k.
139k sticker is stupid- its nearing lower appointed 2011 997.2TT's (non S). But I do love the performance numbers.

Yeah, that price just seems really off. Maybe it was a typo. Otherwise I agree, it isn't worth it at that price. I would be interested in one if the prices come down a bit. I have a wife-imposed moratorium on car purchases anyway...for at least a couple of years...
