What boost should I trigger the water/meth?

Well, the kit is being installed. I would like to know at what boost should I set the water/meth to run and at what boost should be the full?

How long will the 1 gallon last for daily driver away from going hard on accelerator?

My mods are:

- Brabus K8 pulley pkg ( 168 - 170 mm)
- Brabus Exhaust
- KLEEMANN headers
- 82mm Throttle body
- 550 cc fuel injectors
- K&N Filter
- PLM HE
- Mezeire IC Pump

If you set it to spray at low boost, lets say about 5psi and you are daily driving, guess what? that gallon might not last a day...if you set it at 10-12 psi it will last a lot longer but that is all gonna depend on that right foot of yours

Does this car even see 5psi? I figure the least it would see is about 8psi. Other than that I would guess that the boost bypass valve would be open. I don't really know though.

Regardless, I would say keep it at 10psi as well. You only really want it when you are racing and 10psi is lower than my car will even go when racing.

are you advancing your timing ? or are you just using it for cooling issues? if you dont advance your timing you arent going to pick up much HP but its still good for cooling issues if your having probs there

. are you using aquamist kit?

I just noticed your post after all this time, sorry i was going through night shift work and my head was not calibrated very well lately

Well, I am using 50/50 water/methanol, mainly for cooling but yeah I would try to get as much as I can of HPs.

My kit , is the little AEM kit with single nozzle of 550 cc but I will upgrade it soon to dual nozzles with one right after TB 300 cc ...

I agree with Sardul.. but

Boost is progressive. My highest is 14lb in 3rd.. 11psi/12psi
psi in 1st and 2nd

I trigger meth at 7psi. My tank is 2 gal, and it last me for weeks.. if I am just "driving"

I apologize if you've posted this elsewhere Bramage, but are you running the Devil's Own meth kit or something like an Aquamist?

I run the devils own kit. It has been flawless.

I have not discussed it on the board in any detail, but essentially, I have the 2 Gal trunk tank and 250PSI pump. I run the a #10 Nozzle which is located where Shardul shows his (side of intercooler, as far back from the IAT sensor as possible).

I trigger off of a Zeitronix. I run the ZT-1 alarm relay, and that closes on the configuration within the Zietronix. Today I run it at 7PSI and 70%TPS. This works well, and gives a lot of flexibility. I also run the solenoid and have 2 custom lamps on my dash: Green (Pump is active) Red, Float Sensor. I also installed a kill switch for the pump in the ashtray area.

To monitor, I use the Dashdaq.

^^^ Very interesting and great info. How are the temps now compared to how they were without the meth?

i also ran the devils own kit (which is modified by vast) on my audi s4 for a while with no problems at all... running 50/50 meth/h2o, advanced timing about 7-8 degrees and picked up about 30 awhp running dual nozzles (one on each bi-pipe) about 10 inch from the TB on the bi-pipes.. came on at 6psi and full at 15psi...

switched to aquamist when i went from stage 3 KO4 turbos to Tial 605s as the aquamist had more safety measures incase the pump just crapped out when full spray at WOT..

is anybody running meth on the E55's and actually advancing timing to take advantage of the higher octane like benefits or are people manly just using it as cooling on the E55? I would think these cars could milk a decent amount of power out of meth but then again i am very new the E55 platform so i am not sure if there is a barrier?
