I get it. You would "think" a fellow E55'r with a heavily modded car would have the same interests as you. Unfortunately we live in a world where everyone is not forged from the same guts. My best guess is this guy was some sort of introvert who doesn't respond well to strangers and maybe uses his car to express himself. Who knows. Could be en-knee-thing. Smile and move on.
I for one just got back from LA and did not see a single AMG vehicle. All Ferrari and BMW mostly. Thought it to be strange. In Chicago AMG is all over the place.

And who's to say that the person driving the care even did the modifications themselves? You can get an E55 for CHEAP these days! About $30,000 for an 06... Even less if you go a little bit older.... That's chump change! And there have been quite a few up for sale with Stage 3 mods lately...

Out of curiousity wouldn't you say if they were driving the car with the mods then they were in to that type of thing whether they put them on themself or not? I mean if they weren't then why would they have bought the car instead of saving themself some money on a stock one and perhaps a more reliable car (not saying it isn't reliable modded though)?
I just can't seem to grasp your way of thinking, maybe I am just crazy. And you bring up the money again. Who gives two flying ****s if it cost 500,000 or 5,000. It isn't about how much the thing cost, it is about what you like and what someone else also likes since you both drive the samn fricken car! Why are you so tied up with numbers? My god!

Yesterday I was walking down the sidewalk drinking my Starbucks coffee when I spotted a guy about a block ahead carrying the same Starbucks coffee cup! I immediately rushed up the street, knocking several people out of the way (I think one old lady might have fallen down) until I was right up alongside him. I gave him a big smile and a "thumbs up" and signaled at our matching cups. He just rolled his eyes and kept walking.
What the hell is wrong with people? We are both Starbucks enthusiasts....so why the disrespect?
Gotta go..... I think I just spotted someone carrying the same iPhone as me!

An e55 is not a regular car and 90% of the people that see it have no idea what the car is about.If I saw a modded e55 on the road that was modded its full gorilla mode and my mods are better than your mods it might have something to do with our ballz between our legs but that e55 def had no mojo
