Hey guys. I am simply blown away with the advancement from the previous generation CLS550. It feels like a car that is twice as much as it is. The new 4.7L Biturbo is a real brute. Plus I love the sound of the SPOOOOL of the turbos. Just amazing!! If anyone here is in the market for a high end luxury car, this is the way to go! I just can't believe that this thing can do 0-60 in 4.2 seconds. Here are some pics of her.

Thanks mang! Diamond White is the name of the color and it is just spectacular in person. Pictures don't do justice with this car. I want to order K and N filters for it but they don't make em yet.

 

How does it feel compared to your beast?

 

The torque is just immense took it for a drive just now and it is fast. The transmission is a strongpoint of this powertrain. It shifts like a c63. This is the 7G-Tronic Plus transmission. Honestly though I have a ton more power in my E55. Nothing beats the beast unless I get a tune. Hmmmm

Why does it have the V8 Biturbo badge on the side? I realize that it does have a V8 BiTurbo engine; however, those badges should be reserved for the true AMG models...

Jeez u badge hounds are a joke, it actually has a V8 biturbo, the rear hasnt been changed CLS 550 & even license plates read CLS 550 wtf? NO precious AMG badging anywhere? I mean really???? ur e55 is worth what hi $20k range vs this beautiful brand new CLS w/superior tech & looks & turbo's worth EZ triple dollar amount yet you complain about LEGIT fender badging wow just wow..

Thanks for the nice comments guys! I think this car really deserves that badge because it is a milestone in mb engineering. I think it doesnt have to be an amg to deserve the side badge. As of videos i will post as soon as it is broken in. Sorry my moms reserved for my dad no pics....Lol

I might do the star diagnostic tune that changes the min octane level to 93.

 

Excuse me, but what the hell does the price of the car have to do with anything? If you actually comprehended my comment, I actually acknowledge that it does have a V8 BiTurbo... While technically correct, those badges are meant for AMG vehicles... Regardless of whether or not it still has the CLS550 badging or not... And regardless of what you say, it is NOT legit fender badging. The factory definitely didn't put it there, and that badge is reserved for the AMG lineup... I don't give a crap if it's a $10,00 C34 from the past or a $200,000 brand new model, false badging is false badging...

You are correct, it is only intended for AMG vehicles. The badge was definitely not there from the factory!

 

I was wondering the exact same thing; why are the fender badges there? What the hell does the value of our E55 in comparison to this CLS matter, I suppose it could be some special "V8 Biturbo fender badge edition".
It was a legitimate question. Badge or no badge a very nice car.

 

It definitely is a nice car... I drove a 550 the other day... They didn't have an AMG so I haven't been able to buy one yet, but my salesman is going to call me whenever they get one...
