New wheels on my wagon :) the project has started !
Hi
After being happy with my e55 for three years and 70,000 miles I have decided to give her a re-fresh . Been looking at wheels and have decided on Brabus 20" staggered monoblock s and collect them on Tuesday . To complete the look I'm looking at lowering modules for the airmatic , carbon fibre front lip and rear defuser and a vinyl wrap for the roof .
I have a couple of questions
Are all lowering modules the same ? The brabus ones any good ?
Lowering links ? Better than the above ?
I will post some pics as I start the cosmetic mods .
Marc

I have not heard much about the brabus module.
Here are the most used options from cheapest to most expensive:
1. Adding washers to the sensor arms to make the car think it is higher than it really is causing the computer to lower the car
2. Using lowering links, does the same as above but allows more adjustment and is a bit more safe in my opinion than using washers.
3. Installing a lowering module-- most here have the renntech or lowering module.com V2. There is some minor rewiring required by switching pins between harnesses, but no big deal. The optional remote control is worth every penny.
4. The LoMo M1 is the newest offering that is complete plug and play and uses the factory gauge interface to make adjustments. Pricey, but worth it if you have the cash
