Would you be willing to pay over MSRP and get the car in August? If you are willing to pay 4k over, I know of a dealer that would you it for you in Florida. Let me know.

Sincerely,

Nelson Artigas Jr.

P.S. Where are you located?

Thats just plain ridiculous

Most dealers will get u on the list for MSRP on the east coast. Florida and Cali are the ones that tend to rape customers.

That is true. Most dealers would get you on the list and sell you the car for MSRP, but you would have to wait a year to get the car the way you want it and with the options that you want. If you want to spec out the car and get it in August, 4k is not that bad of a premium, if you take into consideration the fact that some dealers were charging 15k over sticker for the first E55s.

Yes, and back then the NASDAQ was raging like a 16 year old's hormones... those days are LONG gone. The dealers that are getting premiums on their E55s better enjoy it while they can... unlike before with the debut of the W210 E55 it's not THAT long a wait to get one built the way you want it at MSRP if one is resourceful. IMO, MSRP is HUGE profit to the dealer... get with the fact that it's 2003, and not 1999 and sell the damn things for sticker.

Pay MSRP and wait for one year? Not quite true, there is a member here who happens to be outstanding car dealer and will be able to deliver the car no more than 3 months at MSRP.

Markup over invoice for the E55 is approx $5400, and with the 3% holdback (additional $2280) total dealer profit on an E55 sold at MSRP is about <$7680> which is more than 10%.
Pretty healthy margin.

Huh? There's a list member that will sell you a car-- that you spec out --on the list, at MSRP, in 3 months?

Can he email me?

Can you please quote the contact info of that dealer and the name of the dealership so that everyone who needs a car can go directly to them? I would love to verify if that's true. I doubt it though

If anybody is SERIOUSLY interested on any 55s, you may send email/pm to CME4BENZE. I don't think he would like his number posted on this board.

CME4BENZE has done great service to several members of this board. He has sold several 55s (S, E, CLs) at MSRP, unlike several other dealers who would totally neglect ethics and only focus mainly on how to rip off customers.

Nelson, are you the same guy selling E55 "slots" for several thousands on ebay a few months ago?

I know, I know, it's unethical. And to redeem myself, if somebody lives in Texas and wants one for MSRP, where you can spec out the car the way you want it and receive it this year, email me at Nelson90210@yahoo.com and I will give you all the details for free!
