Grill looks INSANE.
no its not vinyl and not wrapped its dipped into a pattern that is floating on water in this case carbon pattern. which turns to a liquid once a chemical is applied. So when a piece is being dipped through the carbon fiber pattern where ever the water goes so will the pattern. Meaning it gets into all the tight areas and corners that vinyl will never go. Use all PPG automotive paints. So no chipping, fading. Better quality paint then whats on your car do to a hardener that is mixed in with the clear which is the final step. Can do a matte, satin or high gloss clear. In the case of the pics all done in High gloss to match a members other carbon pieces as well mine to match the rear diffuser and front spoiler.
PM me prices then....

Yes you are! hehehehe. You can have anything you want fabricated out of Carbon if you got the pockets to do so, and even when you are done for that hundreds if not thousands $$$ more you can say to people that it is real carbon fiber, even tho I don't think many people will ask if it real or not. It is not some cheap vinyl or not di-noc wrap that in high heat will pull off on hard edges and corners. This is the new generation of re doing things in carbon (look). This my friend is called talent.Originally Posted by timeToy

There will be more pictures of the parts on the car coming very soon for everyone to see how high quality this work really is.

I must admit that I am kind of a CF snob, look what I did to my previous car, here and here... So yes it pains me to see fake CF, as it lower the value of all the real CF around...Originally Posted by kamilclk430

I will get some great pics up as soon as possible of this stuff on the car so that you can see how good it looks. The real carbon is the real deal, it looks different a bit but what are you paying for? Carbon is there just to save you on weight, correct? how does it save you on weight if it just an overlay of carbon on original plastic pieces? how is it real if the entire structure of the dash or the center console is actually not formed and made out of carbon? I just don't see the advantage of paying not a little but a lot more to get a real carbon overlay over a process like this, which again is overlay that is just like paint.

Am I the only one who is tripped out about this liquid carbon? I had never heard about it - Looks amazing and obviously a cheaper alternative.

The liquid carbon alternative had been around for a while now;however, there are not many people that know how to do it right, and also do it the right way. From talking to Shawn (the man with the talent) if you want this done right certain things such as temperature, texture, coats, and so on have to be right on the money. If one thing is off you are in for a crappy turnout or it's just not your special skill to do. I would def. leave this up for Shawn, he is going to go a long way with his attention to detail. He did my mirrors 4 times because he did not want one single inperfection before he got it at 101%. This is called someone that cares about MY (or your) stuff. People like Shawn are one of the few that I wuld ever let near my car, and the proof of why will soon be on pictures that I will post. Originally Posted by iAMGod
