"Service Brake! Visit workshop!"
Can someone tell me what to do to take this message off?

Regardless, you need an SDS to see what codes the SBC gives you before doing anything.

Any other trouble shooting I should do?

is still on. Does the code have to be cleared
with the computer or is it suppose to correct
itself automatically (which means I have a pressure
reservoir problem).
Why not take it into a dealership, have them pull the codes and properly diagnose the car instead of just throwing parts at it, then coming back here to ask whats wrong?
You may spend the $900 you were quoted and all is well and you're out $900 with a repaired car, or it ends up needing the entire unit, and you come out spending $0 and get a new SBC unit and a renewed 10 year/unlim. warranty.

This is correct. These SBC units have service life span after which the message will come up also. There is an SBC counter that can be reset by DAS ... although I don't know how to do it.
Any vehicle under 10 years old is under warranty as this guy pointed out. The SBC can often fail after updates to SBC SW (is what I was told)
I got the following SBC fault code: C249F -A7/3
I tried to reset but my SBC unit was too hot at the time (>80C). My Pads, Rotors and sensors are like new, I replaced them in the spring. I'll be going in for alignment next week and wanted to get an idea of what to expect from that code. Most likely I'll be doing the service myself.
Thanks
I have heard people say its covered for 10 years but the recall does not expire.

Will see what they say on mine. Fingers crossed
