I know you guys tied the chain to the cam gears but did you remove the alternator to get to the chain tensioner? Don't force it back on without losening the tensioner...

Carbon came off real easy and did hold us up an extra housr to clean it off right.

Getting her final engine inpsection , before she pilots the CL down the mile.
I want to thank My wife, Shardul, Scott and J house for all the help today. Always fun to pull resources, get together and do a major engine job in your own garage.
Every part is labeled in zip lock bags and or small plastic continers.
Couple tools were hard to Find and also slowed us some. 45 socket to get oil filter assembly off, required a 3/4 drive. Quick phone call and that showed up. 26mm was short and a torque socket for cams, was also missing.
Putting new powder coated valve covers on and evosport rotors too. All take extra time.
Heads will go on at bright and early central time. I need to match fit my 82mm adaptor plate to my blower inlet, so will have to pull inlet off to fix this part.
