Update on my 200mm Pulley! (First 200mm?)

As mentioned a few months back, after head install, I was going with a 200mm pulley. Well I have this giant flying saucer in my hand now.. What a fricking beast! I think I will just call it the "flying saucer". It may even be close to the size of a Roman battle shield. hehe

I will get everyone more info and pictures soon.

I plan to dyno and tune my current set up and then put the 200mm on and test. One mod at a time..

I spoke with Jerry at EC and he is ready to tune the ported heads and pulley set ups. I prefer road tuning for the Mile, as it was dead on last year! I am buying an EC V2 tune box, so I can store multiple tunes. AKA- 1/4 mile tune, Texas mile tune, Street tune and any other combo that may be needed. If you dont have a tune box like this, it is well worth it! One way or another, you will want your tune changed and no better way. You may even want a proven Texas mile tune, if you have simulair set up. "Just Saying"

good luck with cooling that bad boy lol

I used to mess with liquid nitrogen overclocking my cpu running it -85 c

I would look into buying some ln and pooring it in your ice box in the trunk, that will drop your temps enough to keep the aits under 100 degrees by 180 mph.

Im not even joking and was going to run that **** in my trunk

you would need to test it out since this stuff can hit -135 c so it will freeze your whole setup,I was thinking of running alchol threw the heat exchanger since that wont freeze easy lol

Ethanol freezes at –110°C so that would be your best bet to run threw your heat exchanger

E55 w/ goods, Z32 Project underway
I understand several 205+ pulleys already exist. Problem is, just talk from back East, no concrete proof yet. So looking forward to yours as a complete package. 600RWHP should be very easy on the right dyno and tuning.

To be honest I would dump that water tank you have and go meth mix before going to a larger pulley. Unless I missed a post and you already have.

Boost makes heat, so I never said anything about adding anymore boost. hehe Just adding a Roman battle shield 200mm pulley! Sending this pulley of to have pro pictures taken now! It is just that damn cool!

Here the pic for Shardul!

I have witnesses, receipt and this big ****** in my possesion! 200mm, such a nice round number.

Still have to button up the engine , then Evosport light rotors, then 200mm pulley.

Ok ,, have to run and get back to finishing up the CL.

Skratch,,,,,,,,,,,,That cooling gooo stuff is cool. 500 is not bad, if it works great.

Why not tune it to run e85. It burns a lot cooler , is cheap, and has an octane rating around 108. Plus you can pump it straight in your car .

One of the reasons he is getting a tune box so he can swap files

E85 is in the plans but it requires about 15% more injector-ish. E85 also takes up a lot of cylinder volume with being less as effecient as other fuels. Thus the reaon you need to shoot more of it to go witht he same air. It does have it balance and trade offs. So have to set up the new build and and see if I need to go to 750cc or larger.

I really prefer to run a 215MM but waiting on the S/C MFG to get back to me on bearing spec. information.

Im glad to see someone try 200mm pulley; however, it will only be good for a very cool dyno run.

It is only 7.5MM larger per side, than my 185. One way to look at it. Or you could say only 8% larger.

Thanks , we have all heard about the 200 plus mm you guys have run but testing information, pictures and longevity have been hard for us to get. Even boost levels, so I guess I am going to test/Run one in Texas.

Brooke, you're a crazy man!!

Have you look into making a smaller pulley for the SC?

Yes I did look into making a smaller S/C and you can do that but it was easier to just make a larger crank pulley for me.

I drove 8 miles today only and heads are flowing great! IATS are lower on average, boost has come down , as it is suposed to with good heads and most of all LTFT are adding fuel like crazy! That means 02`s sense the extra air. In 8 miles , LTFT adjusted 4% and still moving. Went from taking out minus 3.5% to adding fuel positive 7% so far. That is a big move in only 8 miles.

Cant wait to ge this 200mm on but need to test what I have before throwing the fuel to the wolves!
