Paint my grill black, yay or nay?
These are the calipers I just painted. I would like to black out a few more things on my car but should I do the grill?
Also, does anyone know if sanding the badges would reveal black plastic underneath?

i painted mine black and the hood vents -- i love it --
What you should do is pick up Platidip and follow the directions -- its only $5 a can at homedepot -- and if you dont like the way it looks -- you can peel it off and still have your OEM painted grill because you dont need to sand or prep the surface.
Its a thin layer of plastic and seems to be very durable -- I wanted a gloss look -- so, before the last layer of Plastidip was dry - I applied some glossy clearcoat.

Well, I'm currently painting the grill. It's coming out awesome. Won't be able to take pics till tomorrow though cause it's already dark ( 6:45pm and it's almost pitch black ).

I am sold on the platidip -- i wished i knew about it before i had my wheels powdercoated for $200 -- and watching them chip like crazy --- $5 a wheel/can and easy touch-ups... much better way
