Wanted to bring this back up again, are there any eurocharged customers out there that have this done? There has to be someone who can give an honest review of their impression of before/after the tcu tune. It would be really awesome to see a video showing the difference if the shifts are really noticably quicker or not.

I've got the TCU flash done by Jerry about 3 weeks ago, and I have to honestly say this is probably by far the best upgrade that I have done to this day on my car. The shifts are much crisper and transmission is way more responsive along with the car revving all the way up to 6800rpms. Basically to sum it all up the car now feels like a different beast all together.

The TCU flash changes the shift point way up to that high as part of the normal flash or you asked for that? I would think something would need to be done to adjust the rev limiter in the ecu for a higher shift point. Hmm.
If you can find some time would you mind taking a little video inside the car ripping on it to display the shifting?

Dang wish they would have stayed on it to get the 2nd to 3rd shift too. I just watched 2 other videos and that one does appear to have the tach jump back up quicker. Maybe there is a noticable difference.

not the same tuning. The TCM tunning is even better! I'll have my done soon, when I finally get around to putting in my 3.06 diff gear.
EC FTW once again....
Fan Boy post over.

Ive had a long run around with the TCU.....
OK I went to a 2.82 diff as well and that was a software nightmare.
Some advice - forget going to a 3.06. NO ONE can do the software changes for this, and only a handfull can do the 2.82 changes.
Comes down to the ecu in the TCU. The software coding is different ecu to ecu model years. So all TCU's are not the same and neither is the software. Older models may be easier to resolve but newer model years you will struggle.
Anyhow back to the TCU "upgrade" on a regular OEM 2.65 diff ratio.... 2 main differences much quicker shifts (much improved - but no SMG). The other one often overlooked is disabling the load limiter (torque limiter).
Both add to transform the drivetrain very nicely. Some TCU tunes can be too harsh, so you may need to experiment which suits you best.
Overall standard TCU upgrade is a super mod. Changing diff ratio 2.82 - hmm not sure its worth the PITA. Forget going to 3.06....

Jerry can tune for the 3.06...The people you dealt with couldn't, but things have changed.
The TCM HW is identical to the EGS52 used by SRT-8 cars, and those can be readily tuned via predator hand helds for any gear ratio. 3.06 will be in my car before end of Nov. I even installed the Mopar TCM in my car and it worked fine , I just lost the ability to manually shift. Do you really think VDO Siemmens makes different Hw models for every car with the NAG1/722.6 cars?

Cant wait to get my Jerry TCU!!! Really think torque management has been holding my car back for all these years due to the 2.82s. I pleaded my case to Jerry about my dyno queen nightmare and his response was the best.
"You get me those datalogs....I can tune around anything"
Here's hoping to be able to use these 2.82 gears JUST like URNext did in his SL55. With 10's!!!!!
